10010 : Office Administrator
Full Time | Salary : £18 000 - £22 000 | Milton KeynesSAG Living Hope is an established family run domiciliary care business providing services in Buckinghamshire, Bedfordshire and surrounding areas. We are proud to be registered with and regulated by the CQC. Due to an expanding client base, we are now looking for a dynamic and service focused Office Administrator to join our vibrant team. This is a full-time, flexi-working permanent role.
As an office administrator you will be required to assist SAG Living Hope Senior Management Team, making sure that all administrative support is met effectively and in line with company policy and procedures. You will be working alongside an experienced management team. The company is happy to discuss flexible working requests.
Candidate’s requirements
The ideal candidate will be an organised, hardworking, and service focused with the following qualities:
You will act as the first point of contact at the Milton Keynes office, with responsibility for ensuring that the appropriate impression is given to all callers and visitors to the office.
- Copes well under pressure and works well under tight deadlines
- Is highly ambitious and looking for career development.
- At least 1 year of office administration experience
- Has excellent communication and people skills
- Has a high level of computer literacy
- Is a team player
- Full UK Driving License will be an added advantage
- Experience working in healthcare environment will be an added advantage
Job role and duties
- Provide Senior Management team with administrative support as required
- To record and maintain service user and staff data and place on electronic filing system
- Collating data and generating monthly reports on collected data regarding service user surveys, feedback and requests
- To assist senior managers (when required) with daily updates to the Staff Roster, recording sickness, annual leave and training
- To organise staff meetings in liaison with team leads
- To record and transcribe minutes from meeting and ensure these are circulated
- Prepare and manage general and business correspondence, documents, presentations, and reports
- To make and answer the telephone and deal with all general and business enquiries efficiently
- Communicating appropriately with service users and relatives calling the office and using own judgement to deal with these calls appropriately
- Communicate effectively with service users and relatives calling the office who may be distressed or have communication difficulties
- Providing support to Care Coordinator with service user assessments when required.
- To manage own daily workload within defined standing company policies and procedures
- Maintain confidentiality at all times regarding all service user and staff information

Due to an expanding client base we are now looking for a dynamic and service focused Senior Carer their vibrant team. This is a full-time, flexi-working permanent role.
The Senior Carer is responsible for the continuity of care for all our customers. This vital role has a huge impact on the lives of many people who rely on our care and support.
You will be working alongside an experienced management team. The company is happy to discuss flexible working requests.
Candidates requirements
The ideal candidate will be an organised, hardworking and service focused with the following qualities:
- A good knowledge of Milton Keynes and the surrounding area
- Strong IT skills
- NVQ 3 in Health and Social Care (or willing to work towards)
- 1.5 years domiciliary care experience or equivalent
- Copes well under pressure and works well under tight deadlines
- Is highly ambitious and looking for career development.
- Has excellent communication and people skills - Has a high level of computer literacy
- Is a team player
- Has access to their own car and a Full UK Driving License
Job role and duties
- Assist with preparation and distribution of the weekly staff rota
- Take part in the out of hours on-call rota once training has been completed
- Assist in covering calls in emergencies
- Be involved in recruitment and training strategy to ensure there are sufficient care assistants with the right skill mix to meet the needs of the business
- Monitor the allocation of care assistants to maximise efficiency.
- Effectively and confidentially managing data and information.
- Work flexibly as part of the team and apply the company’s care policies and procedures at all times.
- Work with the office team to maintain up to date electronic and hand written records
- Use systems to record and monitor mileage and travel distances. This list is not exhaustive and additional duties may be required.
